07.02.07 – CarbonZero statusWe’re pleased to announce that on 2nd February 2007 Applied Works achieved CarbonZero status by offsetting our carbon emissions for 2006 with co2balance.com. Offsetting works by investing funds in energy efficiency or forestry projects that absorb or prevent the release of a tonnage of CO2 equivalent to your carbon footprint. This year we are taking steps to lower our carbon emissions in order to reduce the amount we will need to offset for 2007.

29.11.06 – Villandry online shopVillandry is a foodstore, restaurant and bar situated in London’s West End whose website we originally designed in 2002. Villandry asked us to add e-commerce to the site in the form of an online shop selling a variety of food hampers. The new shop launched in November.

02.10.06 – Giles Revell websiteWe designed this website for photographer Giles Revell with Matt Willey at Studio8 Design. The work is presented as a series of adjacent images, much as you would view photographs in a gallery. The images also serve as the navigation (back and forth) allowing for a clean, focused viewing space. Larger images are automatically served to users with larger screen sizes.

As of today, the 2 clips have received 550,663 on and offline views between them, and this figure is continuing to grow steadily week by week.

03.12.02 – Second Virgin viral clip liveRafter Man, the second of two viral marketing videos for Virgin Experience, was released today. The clip depicts a man who’s become rather obsessed with the memory of a white water rafting experience he’s had. As with the first clip, Pamper Girl, the movie offers the viewer the chance to enter a competition to win an experience via a hotspot link. The Pamper Girl clip has now surpassed 50,000 online views (along with many more which cannot be tracked), and has reached number 1 on IFILM.com’s most popular commercials chart. |

28.11.02 – Virgin campaign week 1 results‘Pamper Girl’, the first of two viral marketing videos produced for Virgin Experience, has received excellent first week results with over 36,000 trackable online views via a number of different seed routes. The clip shot straight to number 1 in the Lycos Viral Chart in less than 12 hours where it still remains, breaking the Chart record for daily visits by over 300 percent. In addition, the clip has also proved very popular on IFILM.com where it has received a further 13,000 online views, taking it to number 2 in the IFILM ‘Most Popular Commercials’ chart. |
