Joe Sharpe, partner & creative director
Joe left Central Saint Martins college with a BA (Hons) Degree in Graphic Design in 1997, immediately embarking on a project to produce and direct Inferno, a weekly ice hockey series for NTL.
Joe continued to develop a moving image led design career, firstly as co-founder of branding agency Moving Brands (1998–2001), and latterly freelance before joining forces with Pete and Paul in 2004.
In December 1999, Joe participated in LiveTX
;
a successful attempt to stream the world’s first webcast via portable satellite.
One of a team of three, Joe travelled to the Gobi Desert in Mongolia (picture,
right) and broadcast live pictures to Peter Snow in London for BBC1’s Tomorrow’s
World.
Joe heads up all moving image projects at Applied Works.
