High Flyers
A recent project for Transport for London has seen us filming all over London at all times of the day, there’s not a nook or cranny of the metropolis that we haven’t captured. Topping it off was a fantastic dusk shoot from the air, with help from Flying TV.

Tutu Tyutyunnik
Thanks to our wonderful intern Tutu Tyutyunnik who has been with us throughout December. Tutu has done a fantastic job with our 2009 Christmas card and has even found time to keep us stocked up with homemade biscuits and cakes. Oh and we’re loving our Applied Works people paper chain, can you tell who’s who? Thanks Tutu!

Saw a thing on the idiot box last night about a late 19th century Russian painter called Ilya Repin. I think it’s amazing stuff.

In Search of Tintin
This week’s Broadcast reveals Channel 4 have commissioned “Dom Joly: In Search of Tintin”, a 60 minute documentary to mark the 80th anniversary of Hergé’s most famous character. I do love Tintin.

BT Tradespace version 2
We’ve just created three new animations for BT to coincide with the launch of version 2 of their online business community, BT Tradespace. Narrated by Hugh Dennis, this version centres around three fictional ‘Tradespacers’ – Bea, Jim and Sally. View all three animations here.

National Trust intranet launched
The National Trust’s new intranet launched today, designed and built by Applied Works. Its the first platform to use the new brand identity created by Wolff Olins. Read more about the project here.

We’re pleased to have completed an update to Giles Revell’s website with some new content and a completely new homepage featuring full-bleed images that rotate daily. Some stunning images, well worth a look.

Wimbledon Civic Forum site relaunch
The Wimbledon Civic Forum is a local community forum promoting discussion and practical action across a variety of topics in Wimbledon and Merton. We were asked to bring the website up-to-date with a complete redesign featuring a user messageboard and events calendar.

We designed this website for furniture and joinery specialist, Dealerward in collaboration with Studio8 Design. Part of an identity redesign project, the website showcases Dealerward’s extensive catalogue of work and features full screen image slideshows of case studies, items and materials.
